Ucan started with a simple question: what if a coffee shop drink could feel like an object worth showing off? A drink you could carry down the street, share on camera, and still expect to taste like it just left the bar.
Meet Peter Howey.
Ucan is the third act for founder Peter Howey. After building a pizza company and a chicken company from the ground up, Peter figured there was one more daily ritual he hadn't touched yet — coffee. If he'd already reimagined dinner and the late-night slice, it was time to get into the coffee game too.
He didn't want to open another café that looked like every other café. So he asked a different question: what if the drink itself was the show? A clear can. A visible pour. A seamer that clicks shut in front of you. Something you'd actually stop and film.
That instinct — take a familiar category, flip the format, keep the craft — is the through line from pizza to chicken to Ucan. Same founder. Same obsession with making the ordinary order feel like a moment.
